Dr. Mele is a plastic surgeon providing cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery services to patients in the San Francisco, Walnut Creek area. In addition to performing breast augmentation, he also does breast lift, breast reduction, male breast reduction, inverted nipple correction, breast reconstruction, and a variety of other plastic surgery procedures.

Dr. Mele received his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency at San Joaquin General Hospital, and a Fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco.

Dr. Mele is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He holds memberships in numerous specialty societies, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the International Confederation of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, the Alameda Contra Costa Medical Association, and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Mele has published articles on cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, and has presented at both local and national plastic surgery conferences.
