Transumbilical Breast Augmentation

Transumbilical breast augmentation, also known as T.U.B.A., scarless breast augmentation, belly button breast augmentation, or Endo BAM, is breast enhancement surgery that is done by putting in breast implants through the belly button, or navel. Scarless breast augmentation is a faster and less invasive procedure that enlarges the breast without leaving visible scars on the breasts or in the armpit. Only a small scar will be left in the naval area.   

Are You a Good Candidate for Transumbilical Breast Augmentation?

If you are planning to have breast enhancement surgery to reverse sagging breasts, scarless breast augmentation may not be an option. Transumbilical breast augmentation can enlarge the breast, but cannot lift the breast. Many people with sagging breasts choose to undergo a combination breast augmentation and breast lift, in which case traditional breast enlargement procedures may be more suitable.

Traditional breast augmentation surgery gives you the option of having your breast implants placed either above or beneath the muscle. With scarless breast augmentation, the only option is to place the breast implant above the muscle, and there must be enough tissue present to cover the implant.
