Before your Surgery
At the time of your preoperative visit with your doctor, any remaining questions will be answered and you will be asked to verify that you understand all of the information by signing consent forms. You will have to make arrangements to have all necessary preoperative laboratory tests performed. Prescriptions for pain medication and antibiotics will also be administered. Someone will need to drive you to your surgery and home from your surgery You may also need assistance at home for a few days following your surgery.
Post Operative Care Questions to ask your Cosmetic Surgeon:

Should I continue to take vitamins?

What are my limitations in activity? For how long am I limited?
When can I work out?
When can I return to work?
When do the stitches come out?
What type of band/strap/ or bra should I wear?
When can I shower/bathe?
How long before I can drive?
Is there anything that I can do to make the scar better?
Will I need any help after surgery? When can I lift?
How long until I see the final result?
Do I need to massage the breasts? For how long?
The Surgery
There are many important factors that may have an effect on your particular procedure, your recovery, and your results. They should be well understood and carefully discussed with your doctor.
