Dr. Johns further trained in aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery at The University of Virginia Health Science Center and graduated in June of 2001. He became a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2002.

Doctor Johns joined as partner to Premier Plastic Surgery, PC in 2005 where he specializes in: Aesthetic surgery, Skin Cancer and Reconstructive surgery, Orthognatic and Maxillofacial surgery, Facial and Hand trauma, Reconstructive surgery of head, neck, chest, breast, upper and lower extremities, Microsurgery, Laser, Hair transplant, Hand surgery and sleep apnea surgery.

Doctor Johns holds membership in the following medical organization: American Board of Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), American Medical Association, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, Latrobe Academy of Medicine, Ivy Society, and Westmoreland County Medical Society.
